Well established now as one of the 'Big Ones', Rob Da Bank's Bestival is consistently producing a line-up of acts that reaches out into the music world's furthest reaches in an attempt to keep every one of the 60,000 people attending happy for a weekend.

This year it looks like it's doing pretty well, with a diverse line-up that includes The Cure, Primal Scream, PJ Harvey, Kelis, Groove Armada, Fat Boy Slim, Ms Dynamite, Big Audio Dynamite, The Maccabees, Brian Wilson alongside the likes of Pendulum, Public Enemy, DJ Shadow, Grandmaster Flash, Derrick Carter, LFO, Crystal Castles, Magnetic Man and Boys Noize.

With the less conspicuous entries on the roster including Andrew Weatherall, Kirk DiGiorgio, Modeselektor, Appleblim, James Blake, Metronomy, A-Trak, DJ Krush, JFB, Skrillex, Hyperdub Soundsystem, Global Communication, The Nextmen, A.Skillz & Krafty Kuts, Breakage, Horse Meat Disco, Robert Luis, Soul Jazz Soundsystem, Smerins Anti-Social Club and Max Brennan, we are finding it difficult to find a gap in the demographic...I guess that's the intention though!!!
